Meet John McConnin

John McConnin is a uniquely qualified professional in the real estate market, holding active licenses as both a Real Estate Broker and an Attorney in California.

With a passion for saving clients money while providing superior legal protection, John founded Listing Attorney to disrupt the traditional 5-6% commission model. We provide direct representation in California and have built a nationwide network of partner real estate broker teams. Where an experienced attorney can bring added value, we partner with specialized attorney-broker teams who share our commitment to high-quality, 1% listing fee service.

As a broker in California, John has personally sold over 200 homes. As the founder of Upside Down Real Estate, his website was at one point featured in Yahoo. He has helped hundreds of homeowners with loan workouts ranging from strategic default to short payouts to walk away plans to loan modifications and principal reductions. He has advised on and negotiated hundreds of short sales with banks.

John was selected by the California Association of Realtors to train Realtors on how to list, negotiate, and sell short sales. He was also asked by the California Association of Realtors to train Realtors on how to properly negotiate multiple offers.
